That was problem! I thought that the heater was less than 10 amps but it isn't so I just ran a fan for about 30 minutes with no problems! Thanks guys you are geniuses!

How important is it to ground the generator if I just plan on using the 3-pin house-hold style plugs? The TM says to drive a grounding rod at least 8 feet into the ground but I'm curious if there are other ways to do this? Any thoughts are much appreciated.

Can you post which Racer separator you bought for the 831 and also if it is working out for you? I'm needing two fuel water separator bowls and am having such a hard time finding them I'm thinking of just replacing them with something else. Thanks for any info you can provide.
