Can anyone tell me how to remove the chain and hook from the winch cable, shorten the cable and reinstall the chain. I think I can figure out how to cut the cable but the brass wedge is really the issue. Thanks

on top where the pump enters the tank there will be 4 screws. remove them and lift the cover off. inside is a glass slowblo type fuse easy and cheap to replace. I cant post pictures but when you look at the top of the pump you cant miss the small screws.
This might be a stupid comment but did you check your fuse. I was informed by a local NG mechanic that my in tank pump was fried but all it needed was a fuse and now works fine.
my coolant heater works well even in sub zero. Just takes a while to warm up. I do however have my cab insulated with the gi od green sleeping mats on floor and back of cab tub. ( $6 from Colemans military surplus) I also have new window and door weatherstripping and use the grill cover. Just my...
