All - Still getting use to this site. My '62 M37B1 had the left side dash/panel light hiss, spark and arc last week. I pulled the panel off and found a mess of (original) wires. Some are in pretty good condition, but others seem to be flaking/cracking.

Thanks to all who replied. I found that the problem is the lower rod seal causing the oil leak. Since I'm using a 24v electronic fuel pump, I do not need a total rebuild. I've ordered the necessary parts and they will (hopefully) be here by Friday so I can work on it Saturday. I removed the fuel...
Okay, will that stop the oil leak? Also, do I need to replace the current pump? I really don't drive him that much, except for parades and such...and especially not in the rain, so I'm not too worried about the wipers.
Well, I don't really drive Humpty that much. Usually every time I drive him, I'll play with the wipers, but they move slowly and don't even complete a full sweep, so I have to manually move them back into the top horizontal position.
