Looks like all the ones I’ve seen. The only difference I see is maybe an extra wire coming off the back battery. I’m not close to a truck to check right now, but if my memory is right, stock there was only 2 wires/cables to that terminal, not 3. I would guess it’s just for an accessory that has...
I don’t personally use battery tenders on my cucvs because they get used often, but my cousin has a m1028 and a m1009 and he uses 2 12v tenders on each and my grandfather uses 2 12v tenders on his m1009
Ok, thanks for letting me know that. I guess it just surprised me to see a plastic piece like that on there and I just assumed it wasn’t as good. Thanks for the help, it’s always much appreciated
Well I tested it and it tested bad. Got a new one, installed it, and the truck fired right up. It looks like at some point in time someone had replaced the factory one with a cheap, lightweight, plastic cased one. I replaced it with a Napa st85. Thanks for the help and advice

I’ll put my mighty mite in for this month. This one actually has a vw 1.6 non turbo diesel in it. The original engine was missing when it was purchased originally from the govt by a friend.
Maybe, I do a lot of events/shows in Delaware, but travel around to some other, farther away, shows too. I only take a couple vehicles though, I couldn’t imagine transporting more than 5 or 6 to a show. Around here we have a group of guys with military vehicles and we do a lot of local parades...
The previous owner did the conversions, he made an adapter plate for both, machined the input shafts on the transmissions, fabricated motor mounts, mounted the radiator, and did all the wiring to make them run and all the light work. He is really good with projects like that and is a big vw...
