What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

I'd suggest looking on craigslist. The guy i bought mine from had 3 more just like it. And fortunately, he was in the middle of a turbo conversion so i got plenty of tips on what to do.

    another fuel system ?

southdave - what was the part number on the fuel filter you bought? I don't imagine it has any hookup for the fuel/water separator which isn't a big deal, but it looks like it can be primed at the filter? Here is the website - the company drop ships them from Wix Filters Wix Filters >> Wix...

    Mech Fuel Pump/Sending Unit

I am still having issues with air getting in the lines. The easiest way that I found to push the air out is to put an air nozzle on the breather tube coming from the tank and then have someone else crack the fitting on the top of the filter. Once the air is out and you have a steady stream of...

last word in CUCV stereo install

I found a block on the firewall that converts 24v to 12v (12VCONT) for the lights, horns, etc...figured I would just put an in-line fuse off the positive terminal and I should be set. I looked for a fuse block but couldn't find one that was "weather proof" - or atleast one that was suitable for...
