    1968 Kaiser M35A2 shifting issues

    Yeah, it would barely budge. Even tried using a bit of leverage to see if I could free it up a bit and it still wouldn't go anywhere. Tried both with the clutch pressed and unpressed.

    Finally got a chance to open the transmission up. A bunch of rust on the gears and guts of the trans. Looks mostly to be surface rust and some pitting in a few areas.

    Just recently purchased a 1968 Kaiser M35A2. I can get it to go into reverse, 1st, 4th, and 5th with little to no issues. But it will not go into 2nd or 3rd. When it's shifted into either of those, I can't get it to grab or even jostle in place. I've even tried to see if I can get them to grind...

    ID Idaho insurance for M35 Deuce and a half

    Wondering if anyone knows of any insurance company that will insure a M35 for personal use. I believe it's a 1978, I'm suppose to be picking it up soon, but I've called Progressive, State Farm, USAA, and All State. They all say they can't insure the M35. Hagerty is able to, but they won't cover...
