I had working AC on my M1114 but i hated the blocked view from the evaporator and the rattling of the condensor. I removed the rear unit and hoses, but is it possible to use only the front AC by itself? if so, what do i do? thanks.
wanted to update on the b pillar Rabbets, got the 3 piece original ones off, and got these installed. well worth the money. Still got to get the front hinges marked up and riv nutted, but happy with the outcome so far.
yea, i agree.. i know i say it does not fit.. but i really meant it didnt fit like i wanted it to. i could masssage the rubber and it would pop in.. and i thought about flap discing the edges so it would grab the sharp corners. i found the "Rabbet assembly" yesterday and ordered them. unlike...

i am trying to find the correct charge amount for an up armoured M1114 ac system. its the front and rear system. I currently have 3# 8oz in the system and the compressor has not came on yet. i cannot find the actual charge amount for these systems. i know they are bigger than the 1151 systems...
the turbos are not much different, they just whistle under throttle sound a lot quiter, at least from my experience with998, 1123 to 1114 turbo. no idea why the 1114 is quiter unless the inner armor they dont remove helps buffle sound. great trucks. good luck with your great build from Ga.
