    Secret for driving a BRDM-2?

I was looking into a BTR-60 yesterday and am sure they mentioned the transmission was meant to be pre-shifted into the next gear and depressing the clutch engaged the new gear while making a hissing noise like an air solenoid. I could be mistaken but distinctly remember thinking "how odd"...

    Winch/Bumper Combo Find

Jeeze. I have trouble finding parts for anything and he 'stumbles' over these winch bumpers while looking for a howitzer? Seriously dude. I think I hate you a little bit. Envy too.

    Antifreeze INSIDE of truck!

As cheap insurance you can do one other thing too. When you replace your heater core and rubber hoses, refill it with a Quality antifreeze and distilled/bottled water. Like the kind in the 5gal jugs at the store or the 1 gallons in the water/pop aisle. They contain no minerals, flouride or salt...

Just picked up a deuce, some issues!

I downloaded the manuals and had them bound at Staples. Got that the girls would laugh when I came in a coulpe of days later with another to bind. One of the manuals mentioned that High-Reverse was not advisable. It also had instructions for adjusting the reverse band from under the trans...

Can you find the MV in this photo?

You know. Aside from the truck being neglected... that is really a very interesting picture. I'm not an artist by any means but I really like the colors and the theme of Mother Nature reclaiming everything. I would actually like to get a copy of that shot to print out in larger size and frame...

    Pimp my deuce!!!

To each his own. I know a lot of people that shake their head at me getting a deuce. I look at as " I want one. I will fix it up as I see fit. Don't like, don't look. Didn't invest in it, don't complain how much it cost." P.S. Haven't seen domething installed that I couldn't uninstall.

Great looking rig. Thank you for taking the time to post the pictures. As a noob I am still looking for my first Deuce but already knew that I wanted to do the same tire modifications to it that you have just done. Great to see it in living color. Fans the flames so to speak.
