I picked this one up from Ft. Meade last Friday. Its a 1993 model. Thanks for the advice on the hitch and chains and loadout procedures. It came with a free bee hive! I don't think there were any bees left by the time I got the trailer home.

Yeah, I grabbed the Harbor Freight chains off of my car trailer this morning and they worked out well!

I wound up finding the riser and pintle from discounthitches.com. With this set up the center of the pintle is 23" off the ground. I guess this is as close as I can get to level without either lifting the truck or swapping smaller tires on the trailer...

The center of my receiver measures 14" off the ground. Looks like I will need the tall riser. Right in the middle of the license plate was 24"

That cover looks sharp! In my old Jeep I took a piece of 3/4" or 1" PVC and ran it under the bikini top to keep it propped up. I just cut it a few inches long so that it would arch up. It sounds like you are on the right track with the aluminum bows though.
