I just finished installing my new fuel tank to make sure everything fits. I could not get the baffle from the old tank to fit. I read some where that the new tank has no baffle system. Is this correct?
I'm going through the same process now of replacing my fuel tank. I have it installed now, but I could not get the baffle system to fit inside. Do I just discard those parts? It is a 95 HMMWV that had the older style tank and now it has the newer A2 style.
I was easy except the trans with np205 weigh about as much as the truck. I also made it easier by buying a complete truck and parking them side by side. You just need to swap the flywheel for a flex plate(externally balanced) the clutch is a 12 inch same as any SBC clutch. I had the pedal...
Well the cucv is all done. 6 inch lift recentered hummer wheels on board air and welder. I did do the bed conversion, and I will post pics tomorrow. Going to help my brother get his Cherokee with gen 1 350 running. I think it turned out well.
Swap is done. Thanks for the advice. God those parts are heavy. The drive shaft for the front needed some grinding because of the lift. The rear shaft from the parts truck is really funky. What is the best source for a custom shaft?
I ordered my flywheel today part number 502710 and the the clutch is the same part number for diesel and 350. I have already swapped the the steering and pedals over. It is much easier with the parts truck parked next to my truck. Next question to anybody who has done the swap. The parts truck...
I bought a 1979 k20 with a sm465 manual transmission and np205. I know I need a new 139 tooth flywheel. Do I get a clutch for a 1979 truck of for a 1985 which is the year of my m1008. Need help on this one. I'm going to keep the mechanical setup if it makes a differenceaua
