They didn't die at the same time but both died while I was having an overcharging issue that I finally got resolved & now I'm trying to fix all the other stuff I burned up while still running the truck.

My truck had an overcharging issue that it took awhile for me to realize & resolve & I was still running it until I figured out what the problem was. The overcharging was fixed & now I'm trying to fix all the stuff I burned up before I fixed it.

I can find the newer style with the rectangle output easily but the older style with the round output I can't find.

12v work just fine powered by only 1 battery or a step down converter. I hate eBay but its the only place I'm having any luck but the cheapest one there is $350 plus shipping which I think is ridiculously high compared to what 12v motors for other cars go for.

I have a 1986 hmmwv that the heater blower motor died it has the round output. Do the newer heater blowers with the rectangle outputs just bolt on in place? I can figure out how to modify the output to fit the round tubing.

Yes the glow plug controller was new 2 years ago, its the new "good" version, the wait light comes on with the ignition at position 1 for about 10-15 seconds (I haven't actually timed it) like it always did.
