I agree with shadowdd ...turning the right screw makes a huge difference...plus as a bonus you get nice black smoke from the stack...when a prius pulls up next to you....

i want to install a 24v power inverter in my truck to run some items on,cell phone charger etc. any helpful suggestions on certain brand name or inverters is welcome.
thanks Suprman,i just bought two deka 31 batteries just figuring how the wiring goes back, also the 569 lead was attached to the cable connecting the batteries before just making sure it gets connected to proper terminal. i dont want to fry anything
if two of the four batteries are bad could i replace the two bad ones with a bigger truck battery and still keep the two good batteries. would this one and two smaller combo work? thanks to all who reply.
I have used Flynns trucking out of NJ . they go to GL all the time. they have a slave jumper also if your truck needs it. my truck was in new castle DE. and they towed it up to CT with no probs. PM me for any numbers.
to all you experienced 5 ton owners,if i want to replace the 4 mil. batteries with two singles,what should be minimum CCa for the replacement batteries...is 1000CCA @32 degrees F good enough or should i go higher
i charged up two batteries that were showing low volts ,truck started all last week now not enuff juice to start, i want to replace the four batteries with two new ones. thanks to all who replied with help.

any members in the enfield,ct. area that can help me with a jump for my M923A2. my batteries needed some distalled water,not turning over enough juice to start my beast. This is my first truck. no electricals were left on.
