I've been trying to think of a good place other than the doors to install some speakers in a 1008 but none are really coming to me. Anyone have any ideas?

I want/need to install a stereo, the problem is I have no idea where to mount it, how to install it, and how to hook the speakers up to it. So if you guys could help me out that would be great. :)

I know another thread about lifts, but I just can't seem to find my answer yet... I am looking at putting a 3.5" lift on a 1008. I understand you have to extend the brake lines but what else is there thats different on a military truck. If I buy a 1986 K30 lift kit, will it go on a m1008...

It's really easy to find a cheap 1" or 2" susp. lift online. Here is a 3.5 for less than the tires would cost. I'd reccomend buying this and saving for the tires in the long run. 3.5 in. Suspension System with Superide Shocks

How much did that whole kit cost you? And what is that zero turn stuff?

Kay I might give it a shot. I guess if I screw up I'll just sand it down again. Don't you have to mix the paint and stuff though. How hard is that?

Just wondering if you all would think it would be completely stupid to re-tune my fuel injectors so I could black smoke. To be honest there's really no reason for it other than the looks :-o. I wouldn't have it tuned to be smoking 24/7, just when i lay on the throttle. Anyway would this ruin...
