"The issue with running without a thermostat is two-fold. The first
part is that the thermostat provides drag on the water flow. This
drag increases the backpressure the water pump and all of the engine
sees. This additional pressure, over and above the nominal 15 psi
static pressure the...
Your engine's cooling system Needs a thermostat to properly function. Ive professionally raced for Years and have seen this tested over and over and over. With out a proper thermostat in place, its not so much that your engine will not hit operating temperature. The issue is that the coolant...
Its not national guard. Its indeed privately owned. Ive seen it a few times around town. The last few times its been parked and hasn't been out and a bout as much as it used to be. Ive never had a chance to meet the owner though :(

Besides, with gas prices the way they are, Im not willing to drive that 6 hour round trip again just to take a few photos.
This fella is selling his truck due to simply needing the money. I would LOVE to buy it, but I dont currently have the time for another project.
Its a 1971 M54 with winch, and a professional dump bed conversion with dual telescopic rams. They work Very well.
The truck has been converted to 12v...
