Amigo, I get 15 MPG and sometimes better in my 85 K20 Suburban with 4.10 axles if I keep it at 60, but it has 235 85r16's and a SM465 4 speed manual with a 350 gas engine.

What size and brand of tires are those? Edit: I see they are Goodyears, but what model and size?

Barstow Truck Parts is about 3.5 hours away, does anyone know if what I need might be found there?

OK, got the paint process started with Krylon in a can. Found a grill guard but cannot find front and rear bumpers, the shackle attachments and antenna guard. Any ideas where I might find these things?

My 85 Suburban is an ex US Forest Service vehicle. It had 70,000 hard miles on it when I got it in '94. Since then, I have put 245,000 hard miles on it and just replaced the engine a month ago at 316K. Chevy trucks last a long time if you do regular maintenance.

I got my grill guard the other day from the ammo can guy in a little town near here for $75. Now I am waiting for him to procure the front bumper. Maybe this Sunday he will have it. I am four hours from Barstow, maybe I should take me a little trip...

I am using Krylon flat khaki, in the spray can, does that make me a bad person?
