I want to say there was roughly 6 inches of slip yoke showing. It was in the TC a little more than an inch if that gives you a better idea.

I just had the same issue with my M1028A1. It turned out that the drive shaft was a few inches too short.

This may be a good opportunity to upgrade to a spin on fuel filter if the original filter base is the culprit.

I was just in the process of finding a local driveline shop online. I will try and get a quote from a place tomorrow. Lately I have been seriously considering swapping in an sm465 in place of the th400. This may just speed up that swap process!
