Well to date that is the strangest looking what ever, that is suppose to be some type of grease / lube that I've seen in a wheel bearing. Nice job on the cleanup and reassemble.
I second the recommendation of verifying with a separate frequency meter. A good quality multi-meter with frequency readout is a very good trouble shooting tool to have available. One of the few failures my 003 has had is the transducer for the frequency meter.
I’m wondering just how you tied in the remote reservoir and the vent line into the MC and don’t have the remote reservoir filling the MC and then filling the vent line with brake fluid. How did you attached a pressure bleeder to this setup. I must not be getting something here but I just can’t...
That's probably a good guess. They show the 105 with racks & bows but no tarp at 2750 shipping. Although they don’t have any data for environmental degradation. :-D

That correct according to the 105 TM
" 1. Remove six nuts (11) and bolts (22) and remove adapter plate (19) and brake drum (12) from hub (10).
2. Remove 18 nuts, flat washers, bolts and adapter plate (19) from brake drum (12). "
I get the same impression from reading the TM. In the section about the hub, bearings and brake drum removal and replacement it makes no reference as to the hub needing to be installed a particular direction and it does look symmetrical in the drawings.
That just shows you don't need to have any common sense to sit on the bench. I personally have 2 military surplus generators the run my house with ease when the power goes out. You just can't fix stupid....
