I installed some Hutchinson 3 piece run flats in my 14.00R20 tires and mistakenly only added 1 of the rubber bead locks in one of the wheels instead of the 2. Anyone aware of any issues this will cause?
I’m looking for a way to pump them down to avoid spilling diesel everywhere. I found that unscrewing the strainer on the driver’s fuel tank was easy enough on my M932A2 so pumping the fuel out was no issue. The passenger’s side tank’s strainer wasn’t budging so I ended up unbolting the fuel...
I’m looking to direct my MEP 803’s exhaust away from my house and picked up some 1-1/4 pipe to create a 90 degree extension. The initial portion contacts the generators cover. Is this going to be an issue?
I got it primed better and it seems to be starting and running fine so far (I'm guessing it had some air hiding in the lines). I'm going to change the fluid and filters and then start digging into it more. LITD, once I get the filters and fluids changed I'll try isolating the fuel pump and...
Installed K12 and S14 relays (thanks kloppk) and I’m getting it to turn over at S-1 and after 5-10 seconds of starting it'll run rough for a little bit and then shut off. I’m not hearing the primary fuel pump run when S-1 is set to prime/run (aux fuel pump runs when S-1 is set to Aux prime)...
Thanks kloppk, I'll pick some relays up.
The alternator fuse that needs a cover is this one? Looks like the PO replaced a wire on that fuse, is there a second wire that comes off this fuse where the empty butt connector is or just the one wire to the voltage regulator?
I picked up an MEP-803A that was last used 4 years ago but supposedly ran strong. The ex-wife that sold it knew nothing about it but it's in good shape. Checked the fluids, (will change them as soon as I can confirm it runs) and threw some new batteries in it. when I rotate S-1 I hear the...
I'm in Florida and have titled, registered and insured probably a dozen M35A2s (restored and bobbed ones) and a half dozen various 5 tons. If the vehicle has a Florida title it's simply filling out this paperwork below and mailing a check to Tallahassee. If you don't have a title DM me and...
Yeah, I'm willing to bet money more than a couple of those spots are going to be big old rust holes once I start digging. If it was regular rust I'd just treat, paint, and be done but I'm not looking to repair holes in the hood because I fully expect other spots to just keep popping up over...
