What is the reason for wanting to change it? You would need to change coil, starter, generator, bulbs, some gauges and senders,horn for starters.

Check vacuum line going to wipers ,had a similar problem. Simple enough to pull the hoses to check. Needing choke to run is usually vacuum.

It would have a RV license on it ,not a trailer license.

Call the Mn DOT,I'm sure they could tell you what to do!
