    Tailgate window regulator question

    Thanks for the info. I did think about going used but I would like to have this fixed with new parts this time to avoid having another used one slip a couple of years down the road. Who knows how good one of those will be.

    Well, my M1009 is down for the count now. had to buy a second vehicle so i don't have to worry about the breakdowns during the winter months. hopefully once my tools are mostly paid off and spring comes, ill be able to start building her the way i want. cant wait to get it running like a champ...

    I have seen threads stating that 24v starting systems are better in cold weather, my question is why? Yes, voltage is the force that pushes current but i was always under the impression that the more current you have going through an electric motor the stronger it will be. 12v with two batteries...

    got my starter pulled off and found the problem right away. the ground strap on the solenoid was broken. concerns me because there is really no reason that it should have broken with no moving going on between the motor and solenoid.

    Hopefully this weekend ill be replacing my starter if i can get fast enough shipping. I dont have any tools available at home (they are all at work), does anybody know off hand what size the bolt heads are so i know what to take home?
