I mean the kind of camper you might see attached to a pickup truck bed. Or I suppose if you found one of the right length you could remove the wheels/axles of a tow-behind camper and use that. Reason i'm asking is because having a working bumpout would be huge, and the M109 doesnt seem like it...
Its mostly the cosmetics. If you could replace the body panels with the deuces it could be interesting. Although that would probably be quite a job, probably moreso than putting the whole cab on

I didnt think about the electronically controlled part. Maybe you could just have a little button you push that automatically shifts the tranny? I suppose a better option would be a newer production manual...
Interesting! Ever consider doing a build thread thats not strewn over 28 pages? :lol: Did you see any improvements in fuel economy, or was it just an increase in power? How much of a power increase? What did you use as the water container? Just some random thing?
Do you have a thread of the crew cab build or any pictures? I think a bobbed deuce with crew cab would be pretty cool!
@Scottd I thought the front wheels were only powered some of the time? Or does it depend on the year?
