Prior to start when checking lamps all crear with reset. Strangely when battle short is enabled I get a fuel out light. It is not on when BS is off.

Clarification So as I understand it from reading manuals, generator will not start normally with battle short on. I am able to start and run engine with battle short on by jumping starter. Also the generator should not produce power with battle short on. I have tried holding starter switch up...
