more than likely you have plugged injectors if the fuel was as bad as you have described. Are you getting any fuel from the return as you crank it over?
Its just a yamaha i1000 gasoline generator with a ether bottle strapped to the back to get it to start on Diesel. If your float needle is sticking in the carburetor it will also cause the fuel to flood over into the oil
Ok going to revive this thread. After being disappointed by the price of that compressor going up to 1900 dollars i was about to just pull the generator off. but i ended up on the GP auction buying 3 new Compressors so i will be getting back on this and hopefully have cool air to work on other...
That is a 40 amp output alternator and the factory one is 35 amp thats about all i can tell you. The MOD you bought is not going to fix your issue with the Generator, just prevent a potential problem. so lets focus back on your issue.
Truck finally runs again. No smoke was lost. Although I had to keep going back to the diagram as I did hook up some batteries wrong then corrected the mistake the battery terminal crimper has paid for itself and I hope to not have to use it again. All batteries on 24v side are running 14.12 and...
Thank you just got everything in the mail last night and couldnt work on the truck because of the dust bowl that is planting season. so hopefully tonight more progress. I will be running new wires from the polarity protection device so i can put the disconnect where i want it

I will be adding a sheet of EDPM rubber on top of the aluminum diamond plate. since i have several sheets of it. should help with vibration and sliding, and if any acid that comes out will hopefully do something
Finally have good weather again, went to get the truck into the driveway where i could safely weld the steps on and wouldn't you know it LMTV battery issues. done dealing with them so Battery project got put ahead of everything. Batteries have been removed. I think birds had packed every inch...
