I put it up for sale at a price higher than it would likely bring (that's my guess, anyway).
If it sells, great, if not, I'll use it on rare occasions to haul very heavy things over short distances.
Might put a new wooden deck on it if I score some cheap wood (scarce out here in the high...
I recently bought this trailer in rural Nevada, near Elko.
It's a 1963 Fruehauf
Model 48TT
It has a single fixed axle with no suspension.
It's a dually axle (two wheels / tires on each side).
Tire size is 8.25-15TR
Recommended maximum tire pressure is 105PSI
16,000 pound gross weight rating...
As of now, it sits on our 640-acre ranch in Big Valley, northern California, with the 1955 schoolbus, the Mulies, the eleven shipping containers, the dozen hotsprings and a view of Mount Shasta, awaiting its undetermined fate.
Here's my Flickr album about this truck...
If there are any details that anyone would like me to photograph for history's sake, let me know and I'll shoot some more when I'm back in Sylva...

Carb ID will have to wait until we're back in Sylva in a few weeks to resume work on liquidating Ken's collection of "stuff"
Thanks for the comments,

Howdy all,
My girlfriend's father bought this beastie about 10 years ago, after trying to do so for some years, and eventually getting the seller to "give in".
After having it towed to his property in Sylva, North Carolina, he never did anything with it. It's been parked under a carport roof...
We'll probably keep the "water" tank, no matter what else we decide.
Our choices for the truck itself are:
1) Keep it and get it running. It was last used as a herbicide spray rig. As far as we know, it may have been parked 20 years ago due to getting old and nasty, rather than engine failure...
Howdy all,
Along with the still unidentified airfield trailer wagon mentioned in that forum, we just won in the same auction a Chevrolet G506 1.5 ton truck, made in December, 1944.
It's a Model G7107 Book Symbol NJ - Cab
We have yet to tow it the 8 miles home, but may be able...
We've considered building a small "house" on the wagon, to be towed around our ranch. Would make a nice little cabin for those who like to rough it.
Building from salvaged materials is a hobby of ours, so it could be very cheap, maybe even no more than the $100 we're paying for the wagon.
Thanks for the replies.
It's quite large, actually, with a deck well over ten feet long, as I recall. I think there was a number welded on to the top of the frame at the front, made by running beads. "53", I think (year of manufacture?).
The rotted wooden deck was probably in service at...
