Decision on a knuckle boom crane.

OK if getting another flywheel housing my suggestion is 10-11 oclock position (passenger side of course) They are more readily avaiable new, but in cast iron though. Your flywheel housing motor mounts will be SUPER easy. That being said, I think you might just have enough room the back of the...

Decision on a knuckle boom crane.

NICE! Do both outlets come straight out on the intercooler (can't really tell from the pic)? If so the Dodge Cummins truck guys will buy that from you. My intercooler and radiator are from a UPS Freightliner day cab (FL70?) and is nice and narrow for my M135 and should work great in your...

Post this up when you do! I have 2 tubes and hubs off a Dana 70 set aside for something that seems like what you are planning!

    Getting older mods

Really similar to my build, aside from the automatic. I don't know if the auto questioned has overdrive, but I would suggest that. I would also suggest the following. If getting a Freightliner motor get it complete as I wanted to run the Bendix 550 twin cylinder compressor, but most yards...

I have bought 2, one off ebay and one from a rebuilder. I referenced a Ross HF catalog and got the part number for the one with 4 outputs (I will be adding an assist cylinder) both were available on the Ford LN. Hope this helps

Looking for Polyurethane T136-27 mounts anybody have a source?

UPDATE: OK so I guess no one had any new bushings around to measure so I bought one. Seems there are at least 200 or so interested SS's out there (with 287 views) I have decided that I will be making my own and of course as you guys all help me when you can I will make a dedicated thread and...

I notice in the pinned threads that there is a m35 door lock repair thread, sooo...Question are m35 door lock assemblies the same as M135/211's? I am missing the whole assembly on one side. Another question does anybody have the page from the parts tm with the strike plate and catch assemblies...

Bed mounted accessory crane location INFO

I don't now how thick the reinforcements are for the bed but I think they would be 2 thin and would flex at the mount. when I rigged up the crane for my truck the 1/4 inch rectangular tubing under the mount flexed a little when lifting the transmission up at the 1000 lbs position (trans weighs...

OK how about a different measurement M35A2 jackshaft ujoint center-to ujoint center installed distance.

Got pictures already of the A2 After mod (how it is designated in the M35A2 parts TM manual) here: https://steelsoldiers.com/threads/is-there-a-difference-between-the-m35a1-and-the-m35a2-after-mod-transfercase-mount-height-and-angle.196030/

First I have to add to my reply above and say I owe a few steak dinners for all the help I am getting. As to what changed I think it was due to Spicer. In my pursuit of the driveline for my M135 I have been chasing many part numbers and styles of yokes and flanges...almost all of the 1410-1550...
