Just found the TM scouring the internet for info .went as far as calling meritor rockwell and AM general for more info on the axles ,everyone was helpfull but had no specs anymore.
I had to go with a smaller pump to fit my install,but went with a faster gear ratio to still get the flow I needed . Just started using mine this weekend, works great.
I ordered the pto new from Chelsea Parker with the options I wanted . It's the 221R housing which fits easier can find the part number if it helps anyone .
I was looking at the same thread re: shocks and for me it crossed to a Gabrial 85329 which has comparable compresion specs but has twice the extension resistance 1500lbs hopeing it will take some of the bounce out of my front end.
I used 2 1/2 inch flat washers from Fastenal ,they are 1/4 inch thick 5 inches outside diameter .At$5.00 each they are a lot cheaper than having someone cut them out . Lots of air/water and short welds if you go that route , easy to burn the bushings. used small slices of pipe to give more room...
