I've also found the HH o rings on the same auction site, are the Viton one's good or should I just use rubber?
Also someone said it would be easier to remove the IP to change these parts than to move the whole engine, is this correct?
So, bypassing this part will make the Deuce run better/ faster? I only intend to run diesel in it but liked the idea of using other if needed. Mine is an 85 with very low miles (maybe 3000), I'm surprised it's having a problem at all...
What exactly does a FDC do and why does everyone want to bypass them? I know this might be my "making oil" problem but I want to know if I'm taking out some kind of safety feature if I bypass it first...
The kit I found on that online auction site that starts with an e, says it's a KT 9062 Mack model 300- is this the one I need or am I looking in the wrong place?
I'm in the GREEN! Installed the Wol-Tec alt today, was pretty easy but had stupid problems getting to that front/bottom bolt. Then found that the ground wire was not making continuity with the frame= probably what caused the presto alt to not work correctly...
