Thanks, that is one beast of a truck too. She'll pull fully loaded to 55mph without wheezing. I've run to the Co-op's grain bins weighing in at 105,000 gross.

The build date on the data plate is January 1982, but it has an additional data plate from AM General indicating refurbish date of 2008.

Thanks a bunch, I posted additional pics that are on page 5 too if you're interested. The M915A1 is an awesome truck, but it's not for everyone. Really research your requirements well if you're gonna buy one to put to work. We finally had the fuel tank polished to make it a bit brighter.

Actually just had the high idle raised a bit this past week and the low idle too. It now idles about 600rpm low and 650 high. We also added an engine block heater for the cooler weather. Though we have no intention of every driving it when the weather's below 20-degrees F, it will reduce the...

Thanks, yes that's the truck's strong suit. It has the Allison 5-speed "automatic" in it. I quote the automatic because there are recommendations in the TM that suggest you select certain ranges depending on the traffic expectations. Plus, when you're grossing 85-95K, you REALLY want to...

Thanks! We love the truck, it is an absolute beast. We have grossed 97K during harvest and she will pull right up to the 60mph limit on the way to the Co-Op to unload, without complaint. We'd decided to paint her from the beginning, and wanted something that would stand apart without being to...

Thank you kindly! I was a truck mechanic in the Army and got to drive the M920 and was impressed by it. Enough so, that when we needed a truck for the farm, I was glad to find the 920's "little bro" and just love the thing.

Thanks again! During harvest, we our typical gross weight was around 65K lbs, though on one load of soybeans we grossed 87K! Every load she pulled right up to 62mph (58 indicated, GPS determined the actual speed) without any trouble. With another step in the transmission, she'd probably gone...

Thanks for the compliment! Actually for farming use, the thinner tires are better suited we've found on our civilian trucks. This truck will probably never see any serious mud and will stay off the fields unless they're totally dry.

I'll see if I can get some more up here in the next few days, thanks!

Thanks a bunch! The current wheels are 22.5's and I know a set of Bud aluminums will fit it just fine. We decided not to do them right now simply because of cost. I've got a buddy who has a set he wants to sell me, but we don't want to unmount and remount 10 tires. We figure when it's time to...
