Has anyone here played with the 4.2KW DC gen sets powered by the 4A032 engine? You could plug a slave cable into it and use the DC head as a starting motor
for the engine. I have one of those in the pile I need to play with......you guys are going to inspire me to get a bunch of old projects done!

OK so the original 1A08 engine was replaced by a Harbor Freight 6.5 hp Predator engine

OK here are some pics comparing the inexpensive float I purchased off Amazon for $6 with a factory float.
Engine is a 1977 1A08 built by Chrysler (Mother MoPar)
Carb is likely a replacement and in nice shape, the float looks nice.

The bolt does not fit the crank, too big.
The unit will not fit onto the flywheel.
