Okay. Thanks for all the info. Im not totally sure mine is an air shift. I tried to look up pictures but couldn't find any that really specifically identified the case as an air shift. Anyone got any pictures of an air shift vs a sprag?
I bought my deuce and it came with an extra transfer case. I believe its the air shift version. I was thinking about selling it but I dont know what its worth. Whats a ballpark value for one of these things?
Thanks doghead and echo. Assuming that big long spring is the throttle return spring, my spring looks to be in good shape. The mounting pin also seems to be moving freely. I lubed it with WD40. If I push the pedal down, it only comes back halfway, I have to pull it back the other half
I started my deuce a few days ago and it was revving right up to about 2100 rpms when I would start it. Figured out that my pedal is sticking. I have sprayed the linkage with wd40 to no avail. I looked at the linkage and I cannot see where a return spring would go so I was wondering if anyone...
The wire insulation is good condition im pretty sure. I'll double check when I get a chance to go work on the truck. Hopefully its just a bad ground like you guys are saying
It has done this off and on since I bought the truck last november. I do not have leds. When I turn on the left signal, when the button flashes, the signals work, when its not flashing, they don't work. When I was driving tonight I watched it more closely and it will flash and turn off then...
My right blinker works fine all the time. However, my left blinker will blink maybe 4 or 5 times and then stop for maybe a minute or so while im at a stop light, and then it starts blinking again. When I turn the blinker off then on again while its not blinking, it doesnt start blinking again...
