New Dash Layout in the works……

One solution is two EGT ports/probes because there is a "wall" cast in the exhaust manifold collector. The disadvantage is double the cost on probes and dual channel gauge. The advantage is you get EGT from front three cylinder and rear three cylinders. Not as good as measuring every cylinder...

Show me your auxiliary fuse panel

I have measured the 12v tap on the my PDP and it deviates +/- 2v. I'll be powering some electronics that care about that voltage deviation so to get a nice clean and constant 12.5v I am planning on installing a DC to DC converter (conditioner) and then power a fuse block like Blue Sea or Blue...

M1078 INPUT SHAFT (PINION) SEAL (?)

I saw that also, 21 and 22. Maybe an inner and outer? I am still learning. The Meritor Service Manual does not show this clearly.

M1078 INPUT SHAFT (PINION) SEAL (?)

Thanks. I have all the TMs but could not get the NSN to cross refereence to the Meritor numbers.

M1078 INPUT SHAFT (PINION) SEAL (?)

Thanks, I had that one in my cart but I just couldn't find a way to verify it.

M1078 INPUT SHAFT (PINION) SEAL (?)

I did some searches on here before posting this question but could not find the Meritor part number for the input shaft (pinion) seal on both the front and rear axle, maybe they are the same? Does any one have those number or can point me tin the right direction to get them?

    Thank you for the links!

    My tip for spare relays

Thank you. I did not find the 24v SPDT on Amazon. Perhaps I overlooked it.

    My tip for spare relays

Thanks for the spelling correction, you are correct, PICKER components. They are based in Minnesota and produced in Asia specifically, contacts in Japan and final assembly in China. Not everything made in Asia is Harbor Freight quality. It depends on the specification and QC by the OEM. I...

    Machine screw fasteners/clips/retainers

Thanks for the tip! I am okay with plastic retainers on things like molding but for the hand grips above the door, I will rivnut them.

    My tip for spare relays

Does anyone have an opinion on the PIKER vs BOSCH branded relays. They are roughly the same price, both companies are ISO 9000 and there products are all CE conforming.

    My tip for spare relays

Thank you, that is very helpful! I have not used finditparts for a long time so I forgot about them. How are you going to address the different amp ratings with only two spare fuses?

    Machine screw fasteners/clips/retainers

Thanks again that first plastic one might work in some of the places. I need to measure the square holes again, I did it once but have misplaced it. It seems like it was 4mmx7mm. I am not where my truck is at the moment. The items that they hold down off the top of my head are the windshield...

    Machine screw fasteners/clips/retainers

Thanks so much for those links. I thought I had covered the Fastenal website but you found one that I didn't. Unfortunately, I don't see any that fit correctly; too big, too small, etc. Here is another site with many clips but no luck there either...
