Yes. Dave was very helpful at helping get 5 used pull outs to match closely.
Make sure you get the right size, we saw some with other vendors that were not the right width—
We added Hutchinson rubber beadlocks, stainless steel ball bearings and fish weights opposite the CTIS valves to all our tires and wheels as suggested by @Gunny 0369, Made a huge difference in our ride...
Our rooftop unit works well at removing moisture on 40-50F rainy days. It is not a heat pump, so it doesn't blow hot. We set the temp to 78F Max mode with the fan on high. Much better than a rag and the factory defroster that just allows the fog to reappear over and over
We are not in the...
Here is a link to the particular post with the today's schematic. That post goes into detail about the LBCD, remote battery disconnects and other issues. Here is the same in jpeg and pdf versions if that is too much—
We have a rooftop AC unit we like and use regularly: Nomadic X3 24v. It has been a journey and you can read about it here on Steelsoldiers, including an updated schematic of our current electrical system.
Where we are today:
1— replaced the undersized 12v/24v 100a alternator with a 24v 200a...
I too knew nothing about vehicle electronics when we bought our M1078A1. @GeneralDisorder convinced me to buy electronic diagnostic kit. With a bit of trial and plenty of errors we have solved issues in our ABS, reprogrammed CTIS, diagnosed HEUI pump issues and learned how to better monitor...
I ran into this when replacing our primer pump last spring, and forgot to mention last night! oops!
The military version used a 3/8 orb fitting which is 9/16-18 thread with the o-ring. The only place I found the mil-spec version required bulk orders. The commercial version available today...
I found a similar formula: CFM = BTU / ( dT x 1.08 ) or BTU = CFM x dT x 1.08
Rated flow in Max is 2,423fpm, or 400cfm (12 x 2 vent to four 3" diameter vents, so let use 350 likely actual)
Observed dT is 28° between inlet and exit
350cfm x 28° x 1.08 = 10,584 BTU
400cfm x 28° x 1.08 = 12,096...
The 3126 uses this one, 445R10. I am pretty sure the 3116 and C7 are all the same. It is not a CAT specific part, it just needs to pull and hold fuel up from the tanks.

Thank you.
Not sure our troubles are with the AC. We are struggling more with the math and understanding how to check the specifications when moving from watts to BTU's. We are accomplishing at least 15° differential between inside and outside temperatures now that we removed the Victron...
I also must be missing some part of the physics (math) as Red Dot sells the E-6100-4-24P rated at 15,000BTU. I recall looking at these while looking at the Nomadic units that was rated at 12,480 BTU. At half the price, 40% of the weight and 70% the amp draw we tried the Nomadic.
I need...
