Duece-Coupe, where does the 122" wheelbase fall when trying to center the axle in the wheelwell of a M105 trailer bed? I like the idea of using the front shaft.
Is there an echo? I'd love to use the 105 hardware, I've got all of that already. My confidence level is low as I've not really heard of anyone using the 105 springs/shackles.
mlwats,
I'm looking for a set springs and shackles. I was thinking of using some from a M105 trailer, but can't tell if anyone has used them to bob a deuce.
Do you have any front springs and shackles that you can ship? Post or PM me with the details if you get a chance.
Cheers,
Other theads mention using the M105 springs when bobbing a deuce, I would have to think that by the rating alone the M200 should work just as well or better.
My question is whether the the shackles from either trailer will work as well?
HRH
OK, can we talk part number or NSN's? I am getting confused with the multiple applications for a given implement.
Has anyone compared an OD Iron wheel (offset/width/bolt pattern/cost) to the thread subject wheels, either originallt issued or midified via cut an replace or add and drill?
Cool, I have my eye on some HEMTT wheels, if I get them the choice would be to modify to six hole or find a 5 Ton to fit the wheels.
Different subject, just picked up a 105 trailer with the intention of using the bed, frame, springs and shackles to bob the M109, is there anything to look out...
