I just want to give a big thank you to @kloppk for the excellent VR module and the outstanding support that came with it. The module arrived quickly, extremely well packaged, and included all the components and documentation needed. Installation was simple and straightforward, and it immediately...
When I cleaned the carbon out of my 1.9l turbo diesel car project I found what worked best for me was oven cleaner, after 30 mins of that most of it just washed off perfectly clean with pressure washer, the remainder i heated up with map gas (not a torch) and once hot used a metal coat hanger i...
I'm having this exact same issue on my 803a, if s1 held to start voltage is fine, once it is in run it will slowly drop from 120v down to around 90v, quad mod and fuse seem fine, I adjusted the range screw on a1 as a temp fix until power is restored here "basically like 150v but now drops to...
I just sold my 831a a few days ago for $1,000 and that was after I put the upgraded kloppk speed controller in it lol

plus 15% fee of $548.25 which makes it $4,203.25
plus 6% PA tax of 252.20
Total paid on this unit out the door was $4,455.45
Which makes me wonder I bought mine last year for ~$2,600 out...
Wondering if there are any military gensets with air compressors or welders built in, doing some searching I'm not finding any military welder generator combos but one would think this would be useful and may exist?
I basically used that exact same setup only difference I did was I mounted a twist lock on the genset
I think you will be happy this setup is pretty quick and I haven't had any issues yet.
Everyone here troubleshoots different but if it was mine and it does as you say the most simple test to start with is take a multimeter and ensure the switch is working when in the "Run" position, you could also see if it is a solenoid issue by manually powering the solenoid and seeing if it...
The appropriate number of military gensets to own is "n + 1" where n = number of military gensets you currently own.
Also if you care the gauges have lights in them, I powered mine from the normal green lights...and also added leds (old video all missing parts like e-stop are replaced)
Stop going off posts and instead only follow the ones that show the latest nec codes to backup their claims, or as mentioned countless times hire a licensed electrician.
