Thankyou very much, it turns out that you are correct, the solenoid bypass was engaged. It turns out that I wasn't looking hard enough for the solenoid, on a few of the other trucks the solenoid sticks above the PT pump but this one was hidden behind a bracket that holds the cable for the throttle
I am currently shutting it down with the emergency fuel cutoff ( a mechanical valve). I may just be over looking the solenoid aua. Thanks for all the help
I am having some issues with a few M819s wrecker wiring. I am able to start the truck but the switch can not kill the engine.
I am unsure if the switch has been fooled with before so i do not know if it is installed correctly
Hi i am having a issue with a few M816 wreckers where the hydraulic pump isn't turning. Is there a key of a shear pin in the box between the pump and the shaft that turns the box. If there is one how do i get to it? There doesn't appear to have any place to access or remove the box from...
