    How can I test that? Or should I just remove the connector off the alt, and see if the batteries still go dead?

    Yes understood. Thank you Chris. I have the side panel off, exposing the tank, and I had the little filter off.. With it on prime, no fuel, other than a free drips comes out of the little filter housing.
