Hey gents,
I'm looking for a replacement bed for my m923. It's rusted super thin next to the side walls and the support ribs underneath are hardly there...
I found a label plate attached on the front passenger side; "perfection- Corey Co, division of lockwood corp, Gering NE." I tried looking...
Good Afternoon Gents,
Task: Hook up an air compressor to an m923 so kids can honk the horn at touch a truck event without running the engine.
I have combed steel soldiers and reviewed fold outs for the air system on an m923a2.
It looks like the best way to do this is to put a QD...
I'm buying some MV/Ts soon for my M923 so I had to give that fire pit cover a try. Turns out it fits really well over michelin xl 14.00R20s too. I'll probably slice a slit on the bottom just to wrap the inside bottoms of the tire a little better. Good stuff! 5 stars! Thanks guys!
These have about 25k miles on them. Still a decent amount of tread but the cracks are bad. And they're bulging out on the side walls. I included a picture of what one looks like. They're all about the same. I'd say about 50% tread compared to the spare tire that's also "new" 1991...
I'll do some more research into them. I'm siding on going with a trusted brand. These bad Larry's are still pretty tough at 30 years, I think they still have run flats in them. If I don't go with the advance tires, it'll be the GY MV/T's.
Either way, I'm looking at 2018 or 2017 DOT cause I...
Hey guys, long story short, my tires are original to the truck (1991) and need replacing. Bad. I've found tons of sites with 14.00R20s and 395/85R20s for sale, all goodyears and Michelin.
Recently I found a tire "Advance GL-073A" in size 14.00R20. I was wondering if anyone had experience with...
Hooked up an Auxiliary oil pressure gauge today due to the sketchy OEM one. I've included some pictures. It's not 100% finished yet but I figured I'd add to the thread. This thing was a $30 kit at Hobo Freight.
You know what's crazy... my batteries shit the bed the day before I attempted to start it and found the PCB to be faulty. In my truck, there's 2 12v AGM 900CCA batteries. One was at 0 CCA the other at 600. I had them both charging for a day or so and got them both up to about 850CCA. That seemed...
Where did you enter the firewall with the hydraulic hose?
I am also tired of the extremely low oil pressure reading through the electronic gauge. Every bit of navy mechanic is yelling at me to shut it down immediately even rough I know it's probably okay.
I'm researching hoses and gauges to do...
I looked the yellow wire because its a sensing line from the alternator. I have a Brushless aftermarket alternator which is wired in differently from the OEM. therefore, kinda useless.
