    880 recovery

There are still some good agressive tread 16.5's available. I looked at some on a website at the tire shop. Power King is one brand that has them. You make a good point about the lack of a safety bead on the 16.5's. something to consider if higher speed highway driving is planned with this truck.

    880 recovery

Re: dodge I thought the same thing until today. My friend, at our local, independent tire store, told me 16.5's are hard to find at the chain stores and Walmarts. However, most good tire distribution warehouses have lots of them avaiable in various sizes. I am getting ready to get a set of 5...

M37 for sale in North Texas

I had my M37 listed here in the classifieds, but I think the ad has expired. It is a 52, non winch truck. Truck is in PERFECT operating condition and a nice daily driver. All original drive train, still 24 volt. Easy restoration, needing only minor detail work and a correct paint job. Asking...

    Brought Home an M880 today

Re: Thanks AJMBlazer Well, from what I have seen of the truck I bought, ( seller had bought it from Alfa), and from inspecting the other two he got from there, here is my take on this situation. The guy who I bought from was charged WAY more than these trucks are really worth. They have been...

    Brought Home an M880 today

Yes, I am going to go over it with a fine tooth comb. I already an making a list of areas where rust was painted over. I will be repairing these areas before giving it a new paint job. So far, the mechanical components seem sound, but I will be inspecting everything. An old truck with a new...

    Brought Home an M880 today

I just looked at the plate on the dash, and mine is an M882. That answers the question I had about what gauge I was missing there. Thanks. Jeff

    Brought Home an M880 today

The interior is very nice, but it was not painted and is still original military paint. The door panels look new, windows roll up an down nice, has new vinyl seat covering and new floor mat. Dash is in great shape with only 2 gauges not working and one gauge missing, ( the one way off to the...

    Brought Home an M880 today

If I decide to keep it and fix it up, those tires are coming off pretty quick. Not much clearance under the fenders. Jeff

    Brought Home an M880 today

Yes, that was where this was at one time. A gentleman in central Texas has 3 of them up for sale. I had my pick of any one I wanted. I was able to crawl around and under them, as well as drive each of them before I decided. This one seemed really solid, although the other two were pretty good...

    Brought Home an M880 today

Today I went and picked up an M880. The seller had 3 to chose from, so I looked them over, drove a couple, and picked the one I like the best. I don't know much about these trucks, but the one I got seems to be in pretty good shape compared to a lot of others I have seen for sale. This one has...
