    That set up looks like it would be perfect. This truck is a water truck. I bought some new 16.00R20 thinking they would work but they have the hutchinson style wheels so now back to the drawing board with some tires and wheels to sell. lol

    ya I am sure it is easier as well. I was just hoping to use the newer style super singles I found but if it's too big of a pain I may have to stick to duals.

    Hi, I know this is an old post but wondered if you did this conversion and what you had to do? I also am wanting to switch over to some super single pilot mount wheels I found for my M916.

    Ok, I have not recieved the A/C unit yet but it is a military red dot unit built for the 7 ton mk23. Hopefully it will work with a little adjustments.

    Probably the most confused about the need to replace the alternator or not? Mine was overhauled in 2010 and has the allison trans.
