With the help from above I found it. The TM only lists a quantity of 2 of these switches on the truck when in fact 3 are used. The one truck I have the light will operate at well below 60psi, as it will function almost down to zero air in the tank. After finding it in the book, I decided to...
Bingo!!! That's it. I did not see it in the 27 times I looked and none of the vendors saw it in the books either. I will pass the word to them as well. Thanks
Castle, That is actually the low air pressure switch. The spring brake override pressure switch operates at a much lower pressure then the 60psi rating. I am looking to find it in the TM so I can get the correct switch. I have 5 trucks here and every one has a different switch in it, 2 of...
On the M939 trucks attached to the Emergency Air Brake Release valve mounted on the instrument panel is a pressure switch that is connected to the safety control module. It controls the light on the panel in front of the driver to tell the driver the emergency brakes have been disabled. I need...
I am interested in this maybe with some more details of final operation? I have an M816 and was thinking about doing this modd to gain some more road speed and/or lower rpm to get just a tad better fuel economy on long journeys. Is there room for the PTO and would it use the same PTO box? I...
Where can I get kit number 57K0154 for my gauge cluster panel. This is all the mounting hardware to hold the plate to the dash. I think it is 4 screws, washers, clips, springs? Any info new or used. I have none just bolts and that is a PITA!
130.00 per is not bad really. I paid 156.00 for the Deka I have. And it will sit here forever because I have no use for it now. if someone want is I will make a heck of a deal on it. I also have the acid that goes in it. I will ship the battery if need be but not the acid.
Since they never had acid in them they are new even though they were made years ago. I have a new one of these from Deka and it also came dry charged. I bought it for my air compressor and never used it but I paid way more then $25.00 so that is a steal.
I had one of these on a jeep and I had an issue with water getting in through the top, it would run right through the filter when wheeling and cause all kinds of issues and that was with a low compression engine, I bet the 23:1 diesel likes the water even less. If it is never driven near water...
