NDT,
I'm not the guy who stripped the truck, he posted it on the "G" in the 1/2 to 2 ton forum under the thread titled "1942 G506 parts". It might still be there.
Best,
John,
Thank you very much for making the effort to post that old truck. You'll be happy to know that it's been stripped clean and the parts have been distributed all over the country to help keep my truck and a whole bunch of other Chevy G506's from going to China.

There's a chart on the vov website that breaks down the serial numbers and there are chevy owners on the "G" that could I.D. the guys truck by looking at a few pictures and asking a few questions.
Ranch hopper,
The real ugly one's are the most rewarding to restore, Go for it or put it in the hands of someone that will. How would you like to be parted out after 60 or 70 years?
Kelley
Nice job Marcus,
I send about 5 chords up the chimney every winter, all gathered for free. Your going to get hurt messing with those 400 pound cheese wheels.I haul my splitter to the wood and deal with it on site. I'm currently building out an old 506 to haul wood, dogs and trash. Nice looking...
