M-1009 with a fuel leak, air in fuel and some surging

I took off the manifold and replaced the fuel hose and ran a new fuel line to the tank...problem solved. No more air bubbles and seems like the IP is functioning. But now the fuel guage isn't working and my 2 wires are are connect to the sending unit.

    What M1028 Battery to Buy

I put 2 Optima Blue top batteries on the rear tray and removed the front tray. You will need two 800 cold cranking amp batteries. There are several threads. You can also google search and add "cucv" or "steel soldiers" to what your looking for.

    Injection Pump Question

another question. There is a fuel port by the passanger rear tire. I think it is for an arctic heater. Can I run a new fuel line from there so I don't have to drop my tank and replace the rubber fuel hose on top? does that line have a sock?

    Injection Pump Question

My truck has surging and air in the return line. It stalls (gets air in system) while driving. Bypassed fuel filter. installed electric pump. I had a trail of fuel to my truck across a parking lot. THE TRUCK WAS NORMAL HOT, BEEN DRIVING... The next morning it started but no fuel leak...

Does a failing IP suck in air?

M-1009 with a fuel leak, air in fuel and some surging

I just bypassed my fuel filter...still have air bubbles. Maybe its sucking in air back in the tank behind my new electric fuel pump? Maybe it is sucking in air on the line under the intake manifold? maybe it is sucking in air from the IP? I had a trail of fuel behind my truck when it died on...

M-1009 with a fuel leak, air in fuel and some surging

Ok just did an electric fuel pump. I have air bubbles in my clear plastic tube coming out of my IP. It is sucking in air and stalling. I cant find any dripping fuel. Can the IP suck in air?
