    I'm caught between the 809 series which I think kinda look better, until I've seen a few 939's bobbed. The 939's are more common on gl right now, so that's a plus, as is the 8.3 in the a2's for me anyway, but I'd prefer a stick shift...they never made the 8.3 in a manual in these trucks did...

    Wow, thanks man. That pretty much answered all the questions I needed to narrow down my search. So, the 800's came first, then the 900's? As I mentioned we rebuild the 8.3 longblocks, along with lots of other motors, I'm a big fan of them, no real issues to speak of, p7100, lots of things...
