Been working on this all afternoon. Turns out an M38A1C is also known as an MD. Chassis code for an MD is 71 with a body style of 05. Pic of the s/n plate attached.

Trying to help a friend who has inherited an M38A1C. The title says it's a 1960 but the vin is 7105014100190. From what I've been able to figure out so far, this might be a 1971? Any help appreciated.
