That looks like the connector for the transmission controller, minus the transmission controller that is usually under the rear drivers side seat base.

Be glad they still have the snorkel and exhaust. I got mine a year ago and at that time they were removing the key components for deep water fording. So on mine they took off the snorkel, exhaust pipe, fording switch, and CDR valve. Now I think they just remove the switch and the CDR valve.
