Thank you, guys. I looked at the tank and no picture. Do you know by chance if that tank is aluminum or the plastic? Didn't know if you had personal experience buying it?
So I went to the parts manual and did find the part number of both gasket and reservoir and now I am asking for different information. Where can I buy reasonably priced tanks. Aluminum used? I feel I just got raped window shopping!!!
Attempted a search on Hydraulic Tanks that fit the air pump for the Cab Lift, etc, and turned up nothing appropriate. I am looking for replacement tanks. Prefererably not the plastic ones but aluminum. They don't crack or the helicoils don't get ripped out somehow misteriously. Any guidance is...
Here is the conclusion of that project.
Truck is running and back in service/ ECM after several starts adjusted to engine and vice versa.
I don't know how long the engine was in the box.
I flushed the coolant side of the engine and found a very interesting fact; the coolant runs about 15*...
When I get these trucks and their problems, sometimes it is just best after diagnostics to see if they start and confirm that the ECM is the problem. I am just saying that if you can start the truck that is 3/4 the battle. I like to know my possibilities to make that happen. Running well is...
Thank you for the reply.
So according to the numbers I have a 3126B which apparently I will need a tune on the computer but since you said, if it even drives which I doubt, you know of course what I need to do and that is to see if it moves. And if it does it will mean does it move enough to...
This is how it is so far.
Cat 3126 Engine #7JZ06815 is replaced by Cat C7 Engine #7JZ00594
Swap Mechanically went well
Reporting back that though I haven't driven down the road which I am going to, it started using the 3126 ECM.
When I finish, I will report back as to how well it runs.
So all the items I was looking for were on page 12. My schematics are printed on 8.5 X 11 paper and is very small. Is there a larger copy available or do I need to look for a print shop that can copy these on 14 X 20/ Needless to say thank you for your assistance!!! BTW page 2 is unreadable is...
TL number is a 4 gauge andcapable of reaching the alternator. I will go to the schematic again. I do have to say the schematic for the A0 are alot nicer and easy to follow than the A1's. My opinion for what that is worth. LOL
I think I just figured it out, hand over hand to find the other end?

Changed an engine on this truck and due to circumstances lost track of where they go and whether they are 12 or 24vdc, or negative or positive. I have gone through the materials I have and have not found a listing for wire numbers. If it is in the Tech Manuals I don't know...
Don't know if I need to post to another title? If I do I will
Engine is installed but I have not attempted to start because I am having difficulties with wiring and previous repairs that have been done.
So in order to clean up and be sure of correct locations for the connections, I do happen to...
