I retired from the phone company and I use arial lashing wire. It works really well, especially when tightened with Safety Wire pliers. ( your twisting pliers ). You can probably get some from a telephone person just by stopping and asking for some.

I believe the the copper seal is used between the exhaust pipe and muffler. ( I can't tell the size from the picture ). The spring and cable lock go on the accelerator cable at the governor when you attach the accelerator cable to the engine.
