Ok so to check the timing of your engine. The timing indicator on this enging is visible on the flywheel/generator end. From the injection pump side of the engine look through the small hole with the needle thru the center of it. Turn the engine over and you fill find two marks on the...
Well if you had the $$$, you could look at www.meritorwabco.com. They have a link to there air disk brake parts. The single piston setups go as small as 13" and are goog for 15,000 pound axles. If you had the resources I think that you could make one of these fit. It will take some custom...
Ok I thought that I was loosing my mind, but after further investigation I have discovered this. The 3L80 is the newest version of the THM400. When they went to the new trans. naming system the 400 became the 3L80. Second, it does infact have an electric kickdown solenoid. The switch is...
the trans. is a 3L80. The 3L80 and the 400 are the same except for one thing. The 3L80 had a lockup torque converter. However all other parts are the same. They both have an electrical downshift solenoid in the valve body. I do appoligize for my mistake. The solid state relay by the washer...
Before you tear it down try this. Open the hood. On the drivers side by the washer pump there is an electrical connector. Unplug it and see if it will shift then.
I just won a lot for a m116 w/ gen from VA. And I was wondering how the title deal worked. I see that it is looking like this. I need the title to get a temp. tag from PA to tow it home. I need to tow it home to get the tag. So pretty much I am taking a trailer to get a trailer. Sounds...
No problem. You can use the one on the firewall. It should be for the horn, if you can find a " Y " you will be able to add another one to run your lights. I will try to find the nsn for the " Y ". The breaker number should be M13516/5-1 or M13616/1-1.
There should be atleast one on the firewall. Put can be up to three there. There may/may not be one behind the cab on the front on the bed on the passenger side. There is one behind the instrument panel. I can't remember where the rest are off hand, but if you look at the one one the...
Ok I made a little mistake. The drier is not a Bendix, it's a Haldex,
The rebuild kit is a DQ6036 ARTIC, includes filters, seals and instructions on rebuilding
Or the DQ6026 standard kit.
Neither include the heater.
They run about $125.00
I have some good news. I am getting the TM's for this truck, called in a favor from a friend. But it's ok cause he owes me many more. Should be able to get them and post them in the resources section when I get them. Then you will be able to look up all of the specs. for the truck. I should...
CTIS wiring. If you remove the cannon plugs from the back of your CTIS computer this is what you will find.
You will be holding the cannon plug in your hand. It is the metal plug that unscrews from the CTIS box. Now looking at the end of it you will see one of two things. Either a pin or a...
Only a thought but I lived in a m109 for about three years in a place with lots of sand. We got it with nothing in it. Got my hands on a civy a/c unit and that front window fell out. I really liked the truck. And atleast with it you "never" have to worry about it falling out of the bed.
ok for your starting issue. You can take the starter off and take it to a local starter/alternator shop. They should be able to take it apart and test it for you. You could do it yourself with a few tools and a multimeter. If you find anything bad you can get those parts only. The shop if...
