I have my 803a set up with two digital meters, one for each leg and use CT's to record amps on each leg. When load testing with an electric range they do show an imbalance between legs. but cycling the different burners and oven/broil can change the readings. Machine does not seem to care. I...
I have, it was previously working fine.
Just started it up the other day and it pegged to the right.
I am going to follow the TM on testing the gauge next.
You said you replaced the gauge, which one did you replace it with?
My gauge is pegged also on my 803a. Checking the sending unit per the TM and it is fine.
I think my gauge is shorted. Looking for a replacement.
Took an 8 mil tarp 10 x 12 and cut a pattern out. Should have used a 12x12 because I had to leave the grommet edge on one side. After cutting the skirt, cut a top that was 63 x 33 and sewed the pieces together with a sewing machine with heavy nylon thread. I am not a suit maker, but I think it...
Made my cover from a $20 8 mil tarp. Size of the final cover was 63 long, 33 wide, 36 tall. Fit is tight enough I don't think I need to tie it down. Note, I do not trailer the unit, it is coming off the trailer soon.
I was lucky and found a coworker who was getting rid of an electric range. Price was right- Free. With all the burners and the broiler going peaked out at 46 amps at 220v single phase. I think that works out to 88% but the gauge only read about 75%. So, I will be calibrating the gauge when my...
Just wondering if anyone has jump started an 803A with a golf cart? I have a 48v Club Car and wondered if I had a slave connector and cable, could it jump start the generator? Obviously I would only use 3 of the batteries to get 24v.
Just a thought.
I know, keep the batteries charged and there...
