That is where we were at until they realized the invoice was from one state, SF97 had a different address and the reassignment was a 3rd State. County requested a letter from GP linking the different offices together.
County wanted a letter from GP stating when the tax was paid to Indiana. I...
Last time I was at the county we discussed the HMMWV issue. The state sent out an email to the county treasures offices advising them the vehicles sold through GP have off-road titles. I don’t remember the state they said GP is originally titling the vehicles in but there is a ‘code’ on the...
I have been dealing with the same problem. (I have power to my gauges though)
You might test to see if you are getting power at the starter when the switch is turned to start.
I chased my problem from batteries to PCB and finally figured out my starter is dead.
Is there a cross reference part number for the gear reduction 11 tooth starter? I need to replace my starter and I am getting wore out just carrying the old one around.
Thanks!!
Just an update. I confirmed the starter is bad. I thought I had the correct cross reference for the 11 tooth Delco Remy starter but theirs is 8 kw hp and I believe the one I took off is 10.2 hp. If anyone has a good place to get an 11 tooth starter or the correct cross reference I would...
Just an update.
Confirmed again with another set of eyes that the solenoids are getting and cycling power when the switch is flipped. Load tested the batteries and one was showing weak so I went with 2 new truck batteries. Still the click of the solenoids but not even an attempt to turn the...
Cut my PCB open today. I just want to confirm the top solenoid is more than likely the power solenoid and the bottom (black, 4 post) solenoid is the starter solenoid? I get power across the top solenoid and when I have someone move the starter switch to the start position I get power across...
Looks like I have fallen into the same situation with my 923
I do not know if this is the most recent thread but my question is when I turn the starter switch to the start position I can hear a relay click. Is it possible the relay(s) have still failed or could it possibly be something else...
I made it out Friday as well. A lot of good stuff to pick from, hopefully I have time for another trip when the next round of trucks come through.
Always a pleasure to see Glen and his crew.
Thanks again for letting us pick through your green iron field!
